Use your voice to control your blinds

“Ok Google, open the blinds”

In addition to lighting and heating, you can now operate your blinds using Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, so long as they have been connected to one of our smart home hubs.

With Amazon Alexa, you can control whether your blinds go up or down, either fully or partially, without having to move or even pick up your smartphone. Very practical when your hands are full!

How does it work?

  • Have you already started using Google Home’s voice assistant via our Tydom connected solutions? To detect which blinds are connected, say “OK Google, discover my devices”. If that does not work, make sure you deactivate/reactivate the skill.

    • Enrich your experience thanks to our FAQs. For instance, they include information about control statistics, how useful routines are, and the difference between saying “blind up” and “open blind”.
