Connected lighting for a bright Smart Home

Our Delta Dore Smart Home lighting systems allow for remote, centralised or automated management for all the lights in your home. You can now control your equipment in a smart, simple way. Follow our advice!

Tip #1 | Add another light switch to a room

If you are looking to manage your lights using a wireless system that requires no work and is scalable, then install a TYXIA 5610 RECEIVER, and complete it with one of the following items:

  • Create a two-way system with existing switches: 1 TYXIA 501 PACK or 1 TYXIA 511 PACK (depending on the installation, with or without neutral)

  • Create a two-way system without any existing switches: 1 TYXIA 611 PACK

Tip #2 | Manage several lights at the same time

By creating scenarios to manage your lights, you will be smartly adapting their use to your daily needs. In doing so, you will also be ensuring that whenever you leave home or go to bed, no energy will be wasted because a light was left on (like the outside light for instance). To be able to manage all your lights, we recommend installing a TYDOM SMART HOME HUB.

Tip #3 | Change your light atmosphere in a jiffy

Reading, working from home, having friends over, watching TV...all these activities require a different kind of light environment. In these cases, having the most appropriate lighting possible is important - varying from intense to dimmed.

The solution? TYXIA 5640 (for plugging into a neutral phase) or TYXIA 5650 (without a neutral phase) receivers, which are easily integrated into your existing light control system.

Tip #4 | Lighting up your wardrobe

Several light automation systems exist - one of the most popular being when the light switches on as soon as the wardrobe door opens. Wireless solutions make this system easy to apply, as they require no additional work: by associating an opening sensor to the wardrobe’s light source, the light will switch on automatically when the door opens, and will switch off once the door closes. This installation simply requires a TYXAL+ OPENING MICRO-SENSOR, combined with a TYXIA 5610 RECEIVER.

Tip #5 | Use voice recognition to control lighting

For added comfort, connected lights can be managed using Google Assistant’s and Amazon Alexa’s voice recognition programme, via the Tydom application.

Switching the light off in a room, or adjusting its intensity, will become instinctive even with your hands full. In addition to it being extremely practical, VOICE RECOGNITION has a fun eco-friendly side to it which children love: they will not be leaving any lights on in the middle of the day anymore!
